About Monmouth Medical Center – Long Branch
Monmouth Medical Center (MMC) is a behavioral health and substance abuse treatment center in Long Branch, New Jersey, on the Atlantic coast. MMC provides a broad range of clinical services to treat and support clients with diverse addiction and mental health needs. They serve clients of all ages.
Programs at MMC are evidence backed and designed to treat the client fully, not their condition. As a result, programs aim to help clients develop positive habits to maintain long term health and positivity. Services offered include:
Inpatient care requires the client to reside at the hospital for the duration of the program, and thus, it’s appropriate for those with severe symptoms. Clients follow a daily schedule of personalized therapeutic activities, which may involve individual and group therapy. The hospital is a secure facility where staff are present 24 hours a day to assist clients as needed.
Stepping Stones IOP is designed for clients with severe symptoms but who are stable enough to continue living at home while receiving treatment. Clients visit the hospital three to five days weekly to participate in individual and group therapy. Each session is three and a half hours long and occurs in the morning.
The outpatient program is the least intensive course of treatment available at MMC. Clients live at home, visiting the hospital on a regular schedule for therapy sessions. Outpatient programs typically meet less frequently than IOP, have shorter sessions, or both. The outpatient program allows for family and couples/marriage.
