About New Mexico Dept. of Health Rehabilitation Center – Roswell
New Mexico Rehabilitation Center is based in Roswell, New Mexico. They have detox, inpatient, and intensive outpatient programs for adults who have alcohol and substance abuse issues. They also provide physical and occupational therapy and help out with speech impediments. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission.
The detox program is small. They only have 8 beds at any time. However, you’ll receive 24/7 support from doctors, nurses, and therapists before you transition into inpatient care.
The inpatient program is larger, with room for 28 clients at any given time. They concentrate on dual diagnosis approaches to address underlying health conditions that fuel addictions. That way, you’ll have better means for coping and handling stress. The program lasts 28 days. There is also medical inpatient rehabilitation, which can last two to four weeks. This program helps clients who need physical therapy and have mobility issues.
The intensive outpatient program meets three times a week, with each session lasting three hours. While you’re recovering in your community, this program can help sustain your sobriety. Sessions may be individual or group based.
