About Nicasa Behavioral Health Services – Round Lake
Nicasa is an addiction recovery center in Round Lake, Illinois. They work not just with adults but also families to help people overcome drug and alcohol addiction.
This rehab can help you through nearly any stage of your recovery. Their core is outpatient addiction counseling. These sessions will help you work through your addiction and develop the skills you need for lasting recovery. But they also have aftercare support so you can continue treatment to maintain your sobriety after your counseling program ends.
Along with counseling and aftercare this rehab has a sober living home. This sober living home or halfway house is called Bridge House. It’s for men and women who are in recovery but don’t yet feel ready to live independently. You’ll live in a shared home that has support and accountability to help you transition to life after rehab.
As helpful as Nicasa can be as an outpatient rehab, it’s so much more than this. It’s a comprehensive community center that wants to build a community of stronger and healthier adults and families. Beyond addiction services they help with other types of counseling as well as prevention services and youth services. They have family advocacy services too to help you navigate social services and get resources your family needs.
I do want to note that a lot of clients have pointed out issues with some administrative and organization aspects of Nicasa. This seems to be particularly the case for the DUI classes at Nicasa, so this is something to consider if you’re in need of DUI classes and license reinstatement.
