About Northeast Behavioral Health – Hill House – Ipswich
The Northeast Behavioral Health Hill House was located in Ipswich, Massachusetts. This was a coed program that served teens age 12 to 18. They worked with teenagers who were struggling with substance use or had a co occurring mental health disorder. Unfortunately, this location has since shut down permanently. When they were open, they offered a supportive environment for children to work through behavioral health challenges that were plaguing their life.
When they were open, they accepted policies from most major insurance providers including Medicaid and Medicare.
The Hill House offered a very structured approach to recovery. There were comprehensive addiction treatment services here including counseling and access to outpatient methadone medication assisted treatment if you were battling an opioid use disorder. The services here were very much rooted in evidence based therapies and you would have followed a treatment plan that was individualized to your needs while incorporating age appropriate therapies.
The Northeast Behavioral Health Hill House was equipped to handle juveniles who were court ordered to complete services. Among these services were educational programs for juveniles who operated a vehicle while under the influence. They offered court evaluations as well.
Northeast Behavioral Health was also deeply embedded in the community and participated in community outreach services to help spread awareness and prevention education plaguing children and other vulnerable individuals in the community.
Some of these services included their harm reduction and outreach workshops that were offered through their Healthy Streets program. You could also get in touch with this organization to receive free narcan kits and training.
