Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available to help lessen opioid withdrawal symptoms. This program provides methadone maintenance. The drug dependencies treated include hydrocodone, heroin, Dilaudid, oxycodone and illicit methadone.
Methadone is FDA-approved to treat opioid withdrawal and cravings, so you can focus on lifestyle changes to remain substance free. This medication doesn’t typically alter mental functioning when taken appropriately, and most people can continue with regular activities. Your length of time in treatment may vary, depending on the severity of symptoms and needs.
Northern Parkway has a cash pay option of $85 per week. New patients will have a one-time fee of $140 for the initial assessment, making the total amount due $225 at the first visit. They accept health insurance plans including Amerigroup, Maryland Physicians Care and Aetna Medicaid.
