About NorthStar Transitions – Denver
NorthStar Transitions is a permanently closed addiction recovery facility in Denver, Colorado. Accredited by The Joint Commission and a member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), they offered individually designed programs and evidence based treatments with a family focus.
Providing five levels of care, they operated under the philosophy that recovery is a process, not an event. From clinical managed detox and residential treatment to partial hospitalization and outpatient services, they supplied a wide range of care to fit into your lifestyle and schedule. This also included medication assisted treatment (MAT), featuring Suboxone, naltrexone, and Antabuse.
Using dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) alongside experiential and somatic therapies, they aimed to disrupt the patterns of behavior that lead to addiction. Motivational interviewing assisted clients in moving forward on their recovery journey. Individual and family therapies were offered to help work through trauma and other co-occurring disorders.
Each client also met with their board certified psychiatrist and medical team for any necessary medication management.
Even though they’re closed, there are other centers nearby that can assist you. NorthStar has other outpatient centers in Boulder.
