About Path – Philadelphia

The drug and alcohol outpatient program for adults services those experiencing addiction and mental health problems. Those enrolled should expect a structured curriculum that helps a person identify at-risk behaviors while establishing solutions to addiction and dual diagnosis challenges. In addition, various services are provided, including private counseling with a credentialed clinician, group therapy, and sessions with a PATH psychiatrist when necessary.

Those between 12 and 17 can enroll in the adolescent outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) program. This OP is similar to the adult OP but with the added component of motivational interviewing, trauma-focused behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

The residential treatment program for men is offered to those between 18 and 25 who are experiencing mental health concerns and substance abuse addiction. This program provides 24/7 on-site medical supervision, a treatment team offering individualized treatment plans, and group and one-on-one counseling with a credentialed clinician.

In addition, family counseling and psychiatry services are also offered alongside medication management. Moreover, patients are also offered faith-based treatment according to their religion, and assistance with obtaining everything from medical and dental care to employment to housing is provided.

The adolescent treatment program is offered to young men between the ages of 15 and 18. Those enrolled should expect a customized treatment program, private and group counseling sessions, psychiatry sessions, medication (when necessary), assistance with schooling, fun activities, and recreational outings.

PATH – People Acting to Help may accept numerous insurance carriers like United Healthcare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, Cigna, and Tricare. But to be sure your providers offer coverage or out-of-network benefits, it’s best to speak with them before enrolling.

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.
