During medical detox, clients are monitored by medical professionals to provide treatment for withdrawal symptoms. Treatment often includes FDA-approved medication and other physical supports, along with counseling and treatment planning for the next steps of rehab.
The partial hospitalization program (PHP) may include individual and group therapy, nutritional consultations, 12 Step program, and relapse prevention education. Additional therapies include recreational, art, and music. Clients learn coping skills for overcoming addictions and mental health challenges, as well as plan for discharge and long-term care.
