About Porter Starke Services – Valparaiso
Porter-Starke Services provides comprehensive mental and behavioral health care for youth and adults in Valparaiso, Indiana. Treatment includes medically supervised detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using methadone and/or suboxone, dual diagnosis care, residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), general outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare.
Porter-Starke Services offers gender-specific programs and dedicated services for children, adolescents, young adults, bilingual clients, and persons with hearing impairments. Treatment is also available for persons with co-occurring disorders.
The residential program allows clients to focus on their recovery in a highly structured and supportive environment. Participants stay in gender-specific, long-term supportive housing. Clients engage in intensive, trauma-informed, CBT-based individual, group, and family counseling. Treatment prioritizes age-specific, recovery-focused life-skills training, including courses in coping, self-care, and relapse prevention.
Their outpatient and aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs. These services may include step-down support, sober living transitions, employment and housing assistance, and referrals for medical, mental health, and social service programs.
Porter-Starke Services is state licensed and CARF accredited. They accept private insurance, EAP benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, sliding-scale payment schedules, and self-pay. Financial aid is available.
