About Progress House – Women and Children’s Residential – Camino
Progress House’s Women and Children’s Residential home is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains in Camino, California. They offer residential services for women and their kids.
One thing that stands out to me about this program is that you’ll be able to stay with them from conception until 2-15 months postpartum. They have five individual houses set up to house 16 women. This can include you regardless of whether you’re parenting or pregnant. If you’re already a mother, your minor children can stay with you while you go through treatment. They’re also ADA compliant.
They offer over 20 hours of treatment services that include processing groups and individual therapy. You’re also set up with parenting education and life skills. They also encourage family group participation. They’re set up to help address your addiction needs while also teaching you how to parent and take care of your kids. They’ll give you the tools to succeed as you get ready to graduate. They offer support services and teach you how to deal with issues that can arise with motherhood such as anger and relapses.
