About Sanctuary Treatment Center – Los Angeles
Sanctuary Treatment Center is located in Los Angeles, California. It is a rehab facility for drug and alcohol abuse. The admissions team will evaluate you and determine if you are a good fit for their program. Insurance is accepted.
The first step in the program is detox. This will take about seven to 10 days. If you need more time than this you can remain in detox until you are ready to move on to the next step of treatment. Their detox program is medically supervised, to provide appropriate care as you are ridding your body of harmful substances.
Once detox is complete, you will attend inpatient treatment. This is a client centered program. Individual and family therapy are available. Transcranial magnetic stimulation treatment is available. This helps individuals who have treatment resistant disorders. It helps stimulate parts of the brain that lack activity. Sometimes lack of brian activity can lead to co-occurring disorders, such as anxiety and depression. Neurofeedback is also provided. This helps therapists learn which parts of the brain are over or under active. While completing tasks, electrodes are placed on your scalp to measure brain activity.
The outpatient treatment program provides the same treatments and therapy as the inpatient program. Dual diagnosis treatment is also available through the outpatient program.
Treatment planning and aftercare are provided. You’ll learn relapse prevention skills and receive peer support.
