About Scripps Drug and Alcohol – Treatment Center – San Diego
Scripps Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center works with The Betty Ford Center to provide addiction treatment to men and women in San Diego, California. Together they provide intensive outpatient and outpatient mental health and drug rehab programming.
Intensive Outpatient
This program meets more frequently than traditional outpatient treatment programs. Psychological and social assessments begin the program. Individuals may then participate in individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy designed to help them learn new tools for coping with life stressors, addiction, and mental health issues. Family involvement is encouraged and family may seek support through family support groups, education, and more.
Outpatient
The outpatient program begins with an assessment. Mental health and co-occurring disorders are diagnosed and treated throughout the program. Individuals partake in therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and psycho-educational classes that touch upon topics related to mental health, addiction, and recovery. They also provide a virtual outpatient option for those who are unable to attend in person. Family involvement is encouraged and family may seek support through family support groups, education, and more.
