About St. Johns Riverside Hospital ParkCare Pavilion – Yonkers
Saint John’s Riverside Hospital ParkCare Pavilion is found at Yonkers, New York. The hospital has comprehensive health services to treat your physical and mental health, including mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs. This is a patient centered medical home (PCMH) and a Hope (healthcare opportunities provided with excellence) Center located in the scenic New York City suburb. Yonkers is a charming town with stunning views of the Hudson River and the majestic towering cliffs of the Palisades. This is the perfect place to start your recovery journey. The pavilion has inpatient and outpatient programs, including detox where you’ll be monitored around the clock.
While in detox, you’ll begin your recovery by learning about the 12 step recovery model. You’ll have a psychiatric evaluation and participate in group and individual therapy. You’ll work on a goal oriented discharge plan.
After detox, you may continue with inpatient rehabilitation. The inpatient program includes treatment for co occurring mental health disorders. Some of the more unique healing modalities used in the program include yoga, gardening, and meditation. Additionally, you’ll participate in traditional therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and the 12 Step model of recovery.
The center in Yonkers offers specialized care tailored to your needs. If you have opioid use disorder, you may need medication assisted treatment (MAT). MAT is also given to some clients who wish to quit smoking. Additionally, the program includes individual, group, and recreation therapy.
The hospital participates in the HYI to address community health concerns. The program promotes healthy behaviors and disease prevention while empowering individuals to take better care of their families and themselves.
