About StepHouse Recovery – Fountain Valley
StepHouse Recovery is a private behavioral health and substance abuse facility in Fountain Valley, California, just west of the Santa Ana River. They provide a full range of comprehensive care services. They serve adult clients.
StepHouse Recovery’s services are always evolving to keep them at the forefront of treatment. Clients receive personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. Services offered include:
Medically assisted detox allows clients to withdraw from drugs and alcohol under the care of professionals. Clients reside at the facility for five to seven days during this process. Staff help clients manage their symptoms while preparing them for the next phase of treatment.
Clients live at the facility’s residential home during inpatient care. It provides a structured environment that is known to help clients with severe symptoms stay occupied. Treatment methods include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma counseling, anger management, life and coping skills development, and relapse prevention.
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a step down from inpatient care, where clients return home and visit the facility for five sessions a week, six hours a session. This program lasts from six to 12 months and builds upon the treatment started in detox and inpatient care. Clients also participate in 12-step groups and group therapy.
Intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a non-residential program used as a follow-up to PHP. It utilizes the same treatment methods but meets for shorter sessions. IOP is provided on a flexible schedule.
This is the lowest level of care at StepHouse Recovery, designed for those with mild symptoms or who have completed higher levels of treatment. Outpatient meets less frequently than IOP. Treatment focuses on building relapse prevention strategies before clients leave the program.
StepHouse Recovery accepts many major insurance plans, including United Food Commercial Workers, Holman Group, Beacon Health Options, Aetna, and HMC Healthworks. Before enrolling, clients should confirm coverage with their plan, as in-network and out-of-network benefits may vary.
