After a dissolution of operations and merger with several hospital systems, the AMITA Health Community Mental Health Center Chicago now operates as the Wicker Park Health Center under the organization PrimeCareHealth Community Health Centers.

Situated just outside of Chicago’s East Village, this Health Center serves children, adults, and families providing a range of accessible medical services.

They have a dedicated behavioral health unit here that will support you if you’re struggling with your mental health or have a co occurring substance use disorder.

This Health Center can also help you overcome an opioid dependency through their medication assisted treatment program offered at affiliate locations nearby.

Providing accessible care to the community, this center will not deny you care because of an inability to pay. They accept Medicaid and Medicare and have sliding discounts as well.
