About Catalyst Life Services – The Center – Mansfield
Catalyst Life Services – The Center Adult Mental Health and Crisis Services is located in Mansfield, Ohio. They specialize in outpatient care for adults who have drug and alcohol addictions. They’re also a crisis center in case a client is suffering an emergency related to an underlying mental or behavioral health disorder.
The first thing you’ll experience at The Center is an evaluation. This means a case management team will look over your mental health history to gauge your addictions. You might be eligible for individual, group, and family counseling. There’s also educational workshops to help you work your way toward recovery.
The outpatient program consists of three hours of therapy per session for three days each week. You’ll meet with an assigned counselor and receive individual and peer support. You might also be eligible for medication assisted treatment to ward off withdrawal pains. If you’re enrolled in an AA program, you’ll continue that program in your local community. Some life skills training is also available, like career coaching.
The Center does not offer detox or residential services. However, they do treat emergency cases of if you’ve suffered a crisis, like a heavy relapse. Otherwise, if you need detox, you can be referred to another facility in the Catalyst network. Medicaid is accepted throughout the network as well.
