About Salvation Army – Adult Rehab Center Alcohol Abuse – Denver
The Salvation Army – Denver Adult Rehabilitation Center is a charitable substance abuse treatment program in Denver, Colorado. This is a residential program for adults ages 21 through 65. It’s a 180 day program which typically comes with no costs.
The Adult Rehabilitation Center program combines many of the Salvation Army’s services into one program. In addition to counseling, you’ll receive spiritual support and participate in work therapy to develop occupational experience. Work therapy is key to the experience because it gives you the chance to balance recovery with work and other responsibilities before you exit treatment.
I like the spiritual component of their treatment program. If you’re accepted into the program, you’ll be required to attend in house Christian services during your stay. While this obviously won’t work for everyone seeking help, connecting recovery with religion can give additional support to those who do believe.
In order to qualify you will have to pass both a drug test and a breathalyzer test. In addition to worship services, you’ll also have to attend education groups and participate in work therapy.
