Sun Street Center – Peach Drive provides substance abuse counseling and recovery services for adults in Salinas, California. They provide outpatient counseling services, as well as dedicated services for justice-involved persons, including DUI education and related court-mandated programs.

Their outpatient counseling program is designed to support individuals requiring alcohol and drug rehab services. Clients can participate in individual and group counseling sessions, which help address underlying issues that can lead to or feed substance use disorders, including anxiety, anger and depression. Clients are introduced to the 12 Step recovery format and all services follow the evidence-based Matrix Model, which emphasizes knowledge and support as the foundation for continued recovery.

Clients facing drinking and driving violations can participate in the center’s Drinking Driver Program. Once enrolled, they will meet with a professional counselor to discuss their relationship with alcohol and determine the extent of their addiction. Levels of Care

12-Step

12 step programs such as Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous are support group style programs for individuals who are experiencing alcohol or substance use disorder. Inpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment.
